The minute we brought the artworks (finished and works-in-progress) into the barn for our pop-up exhibition last weekend, it was obvious that they were in their natural home.

We kicked off our exhibition in the barn with a talk about our collaborative practice and an opportunity to preview the exhibition.

We’ve had some time back in the studio to start some new work, continue layering up others and evaluate a few pieces that are nearing completion.
We were honoured to be invited to present ‘FLOCK TOGETHER’ at the NSEAD (National Society for Education in Art and Design) national conference at the Birmingham and Midland Institute recently.
The conference aimed to define and celebrate how art and design so successfully prepares young people for life in Modern Britain. With the forthcoming schools workshops and resources planned to support educational engagement with our project, we were delighted to be part of this day. We’ve been back at the farm recently, on another gloriously sunny day, for some more filming of the round-up of the sheep from the field into the sheep-pens, simultaneously showing the point of view of the farmer, the sheep and the dog.
This time we were experimenting with 6 cameras, as we wanted to get some footage of the event from static viewpoints of the gate posts and elevated poles, in order to give the audience a wider context of the farm, in comparison to the other close-up views. Continue reading More Filming at the Farm
